CHRISTMAS IN QUEENSFERRY 2010

Dear Trader/Resident

It seems to be generally accepted in the community that the work progressed by the Christmas in Queensferry Committee during 2009 in procuring new Christmas lights and organising the switching on event was successful in delivering these two key objectives.

We realise that you might not have given Christmas 2010 a thought yet, however if we are to hold a successful event then the residents of Queensferry need to start planning now.

The same group is willing to organise this year’s event, but do need additional help with fund raising activities, support particularly on the day of the event and organising group events.

What is required is continued community support and ideas to enhance the event.

The committee is keen to continue to get greater community involvement from, individuals, businesses and local groups and seeks to have good representation at our AGM which is planned for:

Date: 31st March 2010

Venue: Rosebery Hall

Time: 7pm

If you would like to get involved, or represent a group that is involved or should be involved or if you have a comment to make about the Christmas Lighting or how the event is run or can be improved then we would be pleased to hear your views.

Alternatively if you cannot attend and wish to comment then please log onto our website www.christmasinqueensferry.org

Kind Regards from,

The Christmas in Queensferry Committee.
